we the bridemaids (Tuesday, June 22, 2010 / 10:19 PM)
i wear bridemaid's dress yo!
nah, there's not a wedding ceremony. it was actually an event held in my temple last Sunday. it's quite hard to explain, basically it is an event that allow the married couple get married again, to reminiscent their wedding day. then, we also have a grand dinner with performances, something similar to prom night, just that it's not for high school kids.
urgh, screw the explanation. the main point is, we gotta wear
BRIDEMAID'S DRESS. because someone actually sponsor the event with all the wedding and dinner gowns. so yeah...
are u waiting for my breathtaking dress? i tell u, it's superb awesome! that u couldn't take ur eyes off me! *cheh, perasan*
the making of JoJo the bridemaid!
yeng said i look very pale here. and also, something quite embarrassing. the makeup team help us to make up, maybe the one who helped me wasn't that experienced compared to others, so errr...she made my eyes look freaking small. so obviously i cant tahan. i keep grumbling and complaining about her skills behind her back. *opps* then i touched up myself, with thick eye line. then after that, she actually came back to me, to take picture as an evidence of her assignment. she stared at me for damn long, and she said: did i apply that thick eye line for u? OMG! so paiseh, in a way im telling her that she sucks in doing the makeup. sorryyyy...didn't mean it that way though.
my lovely friends trying out their gown! btw, love yong's expression here! she was like saying: don't take picture ar! i feel very "gang ga" (awkward) leaaa... hahahaha
and...of course...drumrolls please! the 5 megaawesome bridemaids picture yo!!!!

i was so grateful that i have given the chance to handle a grand event like this. it is totally different from organizing a prom night in high school or college. one, we actually have politician, local artists and reporters for this event. two, we have major sponsorship from companies, and no longer a small events target at college students. imagine, a company actually sponsored all the wedding and dinner gown for the guests and committee member! three, with certain religious background, the event was granted with lotsa blessing from many people!
also, i begin to fantasize about my future wedding. frankly speaking, i never thought of this when i was young. many girls would have their dream wedding when they were young. i didn't. i used to think that marriage is something unnecessary, and getting married can be done by just signing a piece of paper. the ceremony, preparation, dinner and etc are tedious.
but, after this event, i realize that getting married is a part of life. it feels good that u have someone else to be with you. it's a phase that everyone would want to go through. i see people preparing their wedding with anticipation. i see their love. awww...so, i decided to take it easy. the day will finally come. i believe that imma wear the dress, and i will be the happiest person on earth on my perfect day. wedding day is best day ever! =)
